Monroe man arrested for 5th DWI offense

MONROE - Police arrested a Monroe man for driving while intoxicated, his fifth offense, in the early morning hours Sunday. Steven A. Johnson, 44, was arrested at the intersection of 13th Avenue and 19th Street for DWI and open intoxicants in a vehicle. Johnson was jailed pending court.
