MONROE — While the Monroe Public Library opened its doors earlier this week, the Board and staff recognize that some people may still be taking precautions for health and safety reasons.
Families with children under 5, immunocompromised people, and others who prefer to be masked can visit the library by appointment on Fridays. Call the library to reserve a 45-minute appointment on Friday afternoon during which time staff will be masked, masks will be required for those ages 3 and up, and the number of people will be limited. Those that require additional or different accommodations, ask, as the library may be able to find a way to make a visit possible. For more information, or to make an appointment, call 608-328-7010.
