MONROE - During a meeting Tuesday, the Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee:
• Authorized the purchase of tables, a table toter and chair caddy for the Behring Senior Center of Monroe.
• Heard from the city's financial advisor, Greg Johnson, who advised the committee look for the opportunity to combine several upcoming projects under one general obligation debt bond, which has the advantage of saving the cost of issuances.
