At a meeting Tuesday, the Monroe Common Council:
Approved Nate Klassy as chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals with Dan Demuth as first alternate and John Wyttenbach as second alternate.
Appointed Kay Fazel to the Senior Citizens Board and Eric Losenegger to the Board of Park and Recreation commissioners.
Approved a resolution to allow city officers to act on and execute investments with Ehlers Investments Partners. The resolution allows city officers to take action without the Common Council because some investments are time sensitive. The overall investment policy will still be set up the council.
Granted a temporary Class "B" fermented malt beverage license in conjunction with an outdoor beer garden for Knights of Columbus and a temporary Class "B" wine license for the American Legion for the Green County Fair.
