Monroe Clinic expands board

MONROE - Following the May board meeting, Monroe Clinic announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors: Monroe residents Michelle Brukwicki, the director of accounting and reporting at Telephone and Data Systems, Inc., and Jonathan Swindle, D.O., Monroe Clinic orthopaedic surgeon.

Re-elected officers include William L. Oemichen, New Glarus, chairperson; Christine Wellington, Monroe, vice chairperson; Mike Greenfield, Forreston, Ill., treasurer; and John Frey, M.D., Monroe, secretary.

The board of directors serves to guide and direct the priorities and future of the nonprofit, multi-specialty clinic and hospital that serves southwest Wisconsin and northeast Illinois. The board consists of 15 community and business leaders, physicians and representatives of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.

The 2014 board of directors also includes: James Berberet, Freeport; Sister Mary Noel Brown, CSA, Executive Leader, Fond du Lac; Chuck Dearth, Monroe; Patricia James, Argyle; Darren Pipp, M.D., Verona; Mike Sanders, president and chief executive officer, Monroe; C.J. Smith, D.O., chief of staff, Monroe; Sister Susan Stucki, CSA, Chicago; and Mark Thompson, M.D., New Glarus.
