MONROE - In a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee:
- Authorized Kathy Maurer, city treasurer, to send requests for proposals for audit services for 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Member Mike Boyce was absent.
MONROE - In a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Common Council:
- Authorized hiring Reffue, Pas, Jacobson and Koster, LLP for the 2010 audit for $28,850, on a 6-0 vote.
- Approved a Memo of Understanding with WPPA (dispatchers) allowing unused holiday and compensatory time from 2010 to be carried over to 2011, but not to exceed 75 hours, on a 6-0 vote.
- Approved $3,490,000 to pay bills.
- Granted miscellaneous licenses.
- Approved an agreement with the Monroe Volunteer Firefighters, Inc. for a 5-year lease of portions of the Fire Department facilities for activities.
- Approved an operation and maintenance assistance agreement with Carrico Aquatic Resources, Inc. for $11,200, on a 6-0 vote.
