MONROE - On Tuesday, Jan. 2, the Monroe Common Council:
• Approved a certified survey map showing land at the corner of Ninth Street and 16th Avenue, prepared by Karns Land Surveying.
• Approved claims in the amount of $3,640,812.32.
• Granted electrical apprentice licenses to Tom Ennis and Bob Bilsie, electrical contractor license to TA Padesky Electric, Inc. (Timothy A. Padesky), and electrical journeyman licenses to Todd Stafslien and Tim Tracey.
• Authorized the donation of five chairs, three loveseats, two coffee tables and two end tables being used at the Senior Center.
• Approved a revised airport operations contract for 2008, to include fuel sales commissions.
