MONROE - The Monroe Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Issues Update Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Peppercorn Banquets, 1417 Mansion Drive.
In addition to lunch, attendees will hear the most up-to-date information directly from city officials and have the opportunity to ask questions.
City officials will discuss the 2016 city budget and levy limits, opportunities for running for elected office and share some commonly held and some hilarious "Myths of City Government."
The cost for lunch is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. Register in advance by calling the Chamber by Friday at 608-325-7648.
