MONROE - The Monroe City Band will present a concert of seasonal - and not-so-seasonal - music at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, in the sanctuary of the Monroe United Methodist Church.

The public is invited, and the program is free.

Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for the Green County Food Pantry.

A varied program, the event includes music of the holiday season and favorites from the band's summer concert series - along with an audience-participation sing-a-long.

The band's membership comes from several communities in and around Green County; and this concert marks the end of the band's 61st season of performances.

Master of ceremonies will be The Rev. Randy Booth, pastor of Monroe United Methodist Church.

The band is directed by Randy Schneeberger.
