LENA - The Depot Stove Gang Model Railroad Club's 30th annual Model Railroad Show and Swap Meet will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 17 and 18 at the Lena-Winslow Elementary, Junior High and High School gymnasiums and cafeterias, 401 Fremont St. Lena is on Illinois 73, one mile north of U.S. 20. Directional signs will be posted.
The show encompasses over 30,000 square feet of operating displays, railroad memorabilia and model railroad merchandise, filling three gymnasiums. Lunch will be available both days in the elementary cafeteria.
The show is one of the largest shows in the Midwest and will be held regardless of weather. The show and parking are free, but free-will donations will be accepted at the elementary school entrance.
