MONROE - Minhas Craft Brewery is hosting a party, and the public is invited to join the Minhas family and brewery staff from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in the Lazy Mutt Lounge, 1208 14th Ave., to celebrate the release of their new book "Brewing Up a Damn Good Story" and the launch of the new Swiss Amber Craft Beer.
The book is full of pictures - old and new, featuring past and present owners and the beers they brewed. The book will be available for purchase at a discounted price, and the Minhas family will be available to personalize copies.
Swiss Amber, a reddish-copper ale that goes down as smooth as silk, will be available. It is a dedication to and appreciation of the local Swiss Heritage.
Anyone age 21 and over with a valid driver's license will receive two free drinks, and there will be giveaways at the party as well.
