DARLINGTON - Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County has been granted Health Provider Shortage Area designation effective July 21.
The designation allows the facility to begin the application process for Rural Health Clinic status in its clinics as well as allowing loan forgiveness opportunities for medical providers and additional reimbursement for Medicare and Medicaid services.
MHLC has locations in Argyle, Shullsburg and Darlington.
