DARLINGTON — The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants & Career Development Committee has selected five recipients for healthcare scholarships in 2023. These recipients exemplified educational and community requirements. The following received $1,000 awards.
Brooke Douglas, Darlington, is currently studying Nursing with a minor in Psychology at Clarke University. She is a 2021 graduate of Darlington High School. Brooke is the daughter of Tim and Kory Douglas of Darlington. Brooke currently works at the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, the Lafayette County Manor and Glennie’s.
Gracie Douglas, Darlington, is currently studying Nursing with a minor in Psychology at Clarke University. She is a 2020 graduate of Darlington High School. Gracie is the daughter of Tim and Kory Douglas of Darlington. Brooke currently works at Southwest Health, UW Health, Lafayette County Manor and Glennie’s.
Jared Meister, Darlington, is currently studying Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. He is a 2017 graduate of Darlington High School. Jared is the son of David and Danielle of Darlington. Jared currently works at Unity Point Health — Meriter Hospital in Madison.
Reva Spillane, Shullsburg, is currently studying Biology at Loras College. She is a 2020 graduate of Shullsburg High School. Reva is the daughter of Erin and Toby Spillane of Shullsburg. Reva currently works at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County.
Isabel Wedig, Darlington, is currently a Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. She is a 2017 graduate of Darlington High School. Isabel is the daughter of Mike and Joni Wedig of Darlington. Isabel currently works at UW Health as an inpatient pharmacy intern and technician in Madison.
