MONROE - Howard Marklein, Janis Ringhand and Sondy Pope-Roberts were the apparent winners of seats in the Wisconsin Assembly Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Incumbent Marklein, R-Spring Green, beat challenger Maureen May-Grimm, D-Mt. Horeb, 12,758 votes to 11,534 in the 51st District with 92 percent of the vote in at press time.

In the 46th District, Janis Ringhand, D-Evansville, had a 11,395 to 6,927 lead over Beth Schmidt, R-Orfordville. Those numbers reflect 67 percent of the votes reported at press time.

In the 80th District, Sondy Pope-Roberts, D-Cross Plains, beat Tom Lamberson, R-Verona, 20,635 votes to 11,663 with 100 percent of votes reported.
