MONROE - Howard Marklein, Janis Ringhand and Sondy Pope-Roberts were the winners of seats in the Wisconsin Assembly Tuesday, Nov. 6, final vote tallies confirm.
In the 51st District, incumbent Marklein, R-Spring Green, earned 14, 296 votes (52 percent) to the 13, 228 (48 percent) garnered by Maureen May-Grimm, D-Mt. Horeb.
In the 45th District, Janis Ringhand, D-Evansville, had 15,740 votes (64 percent) to the 8,898 (36 percent) earned by Beth Schmidt, R-Orfordville.
In the 80th District, Pope-Roberts, D-Cross Plains, won 20,836 votes (64 percent) to the 11, 762 (36 percent) earned by Tom Lamberson, R-Verona.
