MADISON - Wisconsin Bank and Trust announced that Ron Markham has been named senior vice president with expanded leadership responsibilities in Southwest Wisconsin, with bank offices in Platteville, Lancaster and Hazel Green. Markham will continue as market president for the Monroe region.
Markham is also the senior agricultural lender statewide. At the Monroe office, he oversaw the expansion of agricultural lending from about $50 million in 2010 to $80 million in 2013. The bank's agricultural portfolio also includes loans acquired upon the bank's merger in late 2012 with First National Bank of Platteville, for a total agricultural portfolio of approximately $123 million.
Markham has served farms and businesses for more than 20 years, as a commercial and agricultural lender with Wisconsin Bank and Trust. He attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
