SOUTH WAYNE - The name of the 36-year-old South Wayne man in custody for threatening his wife with a handgun on Monday, March 3 has been released.
Theodore A. Bauer was arrested as a result of a 911 call from his ex-wife, who alleged Bauer had put a handgun to her head. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department had Black Hawk School lock-down as a precautionary measure because the complainant lives about a block away from the school.
Bauer was found at his residence on the 3000 block of Fritzges Road, Wayne Township, and arrested. He did not have a firearm in his possession at the time of his arrest.
