MONROE - A Browntown man turned himself in to authorities Thursday, Oct. 3, after charges were filed earlier this week alleging he sexually molested two young girls in Fond du Lac between 1998 and 2006.

Todd H. Neuenschwander, 47, who until recently lived in Monticello, faces two Class B felony counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, a Class B felony count of repeated sexual assault of the same child and a Class C felony count of repeated sexual assault of the same child.

Neuenschwander turned himself in at the Green County Sheriff's Department midday Thursday, according to Richard Wyttenbach, interim sheriff. A warrant for Neuenschwander's arrest was filed with the criminal complaint two days earlier in Fond du Lac County.

His signature bond was set at $50,000 in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Friday, Oct. 4, with the conditions that he have no contact with the two alleged victims. His preliminary hearing is Oct. 17.

Neuenschwander had sexual contact with the girls starting when one was 7 years old and when the other was 8, according to the criminal complaint. The assaults reportedly happened while the girls were living together at several addresses in the Fond du Lac area.

Neuenschwander admitted to a detective "he touched both girls in a sexual manner while he was living in Fond du Lac," the complaint states.
