PLATTEVILLE — A sixth arrest warrant has been issued for a 45-year-old Cuba City man Aug. 18 after an incident in Platteville Aug. 2.

Jeremy J. Rutherford was charged with disorderly conduct — domestic abuse and four counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.

A caller to police reported a physical altercation over a custody issue. By the time officers got to the area, both people in the altercation had left. 

Possible charges against Atoshia Marie Bailey, 43, Dubuque, were forwarded to the Grant County District Attorney’s office, according to police. 

Rutherford also faces a Lafayette County misdemeanor bail jumping charge, for an incident March 13. Rutherford did not appear in court for a first appearance, according to court records. 

Rutherford is also charged in Lafayette County with disorderly conduct — domestic abuse, misdemeanor battery — domestic abuse, and misdemeanor bail jumping, for an incident in August 2021. Rutherford pleaded not guilty March 21. An arrest warrant was issued after Rutherford failed to appear in court for a plea/sentencing hearing May 2, and his $500 cash bond was forfeited after a hearing June 7.

Rutherford is also charged in Lafayette County with disorderly conduct — domestic abuse, misdemeanor battery — domestic abuse, and misdemeanor bail jumping, for an incident in May 2021. Rutherford pleaded not guilty March 21. An arrest warrant was issued after Rutherford failed to appear in court for a plea/sentencing hearing May 2, and his $500 cash bond was forfeited after a hearing June 7.

Rutherford is also charged in Lafayette County with disorderly conduct — domestic abuse and misdemeanor battery — domestic abuse for a January 2021 incident, Rutherford pleaded not guilty March 2. An arrest warrant was issued after Rutherford failed to appear in court for a plea/sentencing hearing May 2, and his $500 cash bond was forfeited after a hearing June 7.

Rutherford is also charged in Lafayette County with disorderly conduct — domestic abuse for a November 2020 incident, Rutherford pleaded not guilty in March 2021. An arrest warrant was issued after Rutherford failed to appear in court for a plea/sentencing hearing May 2, and his $500 cash bond was forfeited after a hearing June 7.
