DARLINGTON - A Janesville man was arrested Friday in connection with a burglary Oct. 18 at Annie's Bar and Grill on Washington Street.

Daniel Hodge, 32, was jailed in Rock County.

More than $5,000 was taken from Annie's Bar and Grill, said Jason King, Darlington police chief.

According to the Rock County Sheriff's Department, Hodge was arrested following an attempted burglary at the D-Day Bar in Jefferson County.

After an investigation, Hodge and Brandon E. Kinder, 26, Whitewater, were charged with six counts of burglary and theft.

The pair also are believed to have been involved with three burglaries that took place in September in Rock County.

King said the investigation also linked Hodge with the burglary in Darlington.
