LENA - The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" television show featuring a Lena family is scheduled to air at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 on ABC.
The reality-based television show built a home in September for the Stott family, Joey, Phillip, and their three children Kaila, 18, Jonathon, 16, and Michael, 15.
Hundreds of volunteers came from across the area to help build the home, which is located on U.S. Highway 20 between Freeport, Ill., and Stockton, Ill.
The Stotts returned to their new home Sept. 16. They were greeted by about 6,000 friends, neighbors and volunteers.
The Stotts' home was destroyed by fire in the spring. After the fire they lived in a one-bedroom trailer.
The Stotts were selected for "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" following nomination for the program by area family and friends. Hasken Construction, an Illinois-based building firm and a team of volunteers were asked to help the Stott family.
Volunteers worked 106 hours to build the new home for the family.
The Stotts spent a week in California while their home was demolished and replaced with a new one, which included a new sheep barn and a pond in the front yard.
