Madison meth suspect gets 41/2 months in jail

MONROE - A Madison man suspected in one of the largest methamphetamine busts in Madison in June had his probation revoked and was sentenced to serve four and a half months in Green County Jail for a previous charge.

Samuel A. Meier, 34, appeared in Green County Circuit Court on Thursday on a misdemeanor charge of bail jumping from September. He was credited with 82 days for time served and will be allowed Huber work privileges.

Meier's apartment in downtown Madison was raided June 5 by Dane County narcotics officers.
