MAC to present 'On the Air' on Jan. 16, 17

MONROE - Monroe Arts Center will present its annual "On the Air" Radio Variety Show at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16 and Jan. 17 at the Monroe High School Performing Arts Center, 1600 26th St.

Emceed by Dan Blum of Big Radio, "On the Air" will be presented like a live radio variety show broadcast, with vocal and instrumental musical entertainment, radio drama, sponsor ads in the style of old-time radio commercials, jokes sprinkled throughout the show, an on-stage house band, and a cast finale. The performance will be broadcast on Big Radio.

The "On the Air" director is Jean Adler Woolworth, and the musical director is Rich Woolworth.

Scheduled performers are Dan Baldwin, Cindy Blanc, Dan Blum, Dave Carper, Anthony Ceithamer, Corey Ceithamer, Jackie Ceithamer, Bobbie Edler, Hugo Espinoza, Matt Finkenbinder, Cammi Ganshert, Anna Garry, Lori Grinnell, Vosha Jones, Breanna Lambert, Kira Lambert, Lilly Lambert, Sierra McGuire, Luke Mohns, Carolyn Rohloff, Jeffrey Schirmer, Peggy Miller, Lara Salyer Smith, Tashona Smith, Joe Steil, Craig Tuttle, John Waelti, Ashley Wegmueller, Brandon Weiman, Olivia Wiegel and Andy Yaun.
