MONROE - The Monroe Arts Center will host the Badger Conference Art Exhibit in Wesley Hall from Friday, Feb. 24 through Friday, March 23 . The Badger Conference Art Exhibit consists of artwork by students from ten area high schools located in the Wisconsin Badger Conference region.
Participating high schools in the 2012 exhibit are Baraboo, Monroe, Mount Horeb, Oregon, Portage, Reedsburg, Sauk Prairie, Stoughton, Verona, and Waunakee. The exhibit will include both two- and three-dimensional pieces in media such as watercolor, tempera, oil, acrylic, graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, ceramic, wood, photography, jewelry, metal fabrication, and computer-generated art.
A closing reception and awards ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24. The event is free and open to the public.
