'Lincoln' to be screened Oct. 23

MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will host a screening of the 2012 Oscar-winning film "Lincoln," starring Daniel Day-Lewis at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23rd in the second floor program room at the library, 925 16th Ave. The event is part of the month-long Green County Reads promotion at Green County's libraries. This year marks the third year of the promotion, with Abraham Lincoln for this year's theme.
