MONROE - The Monroe Public Library is now offering a live chat. The new service, Library Chat, allows anyone in the community to reach the library through any web-connected computer, smartphone, or text-capable cell phone and get a quick answer.

The free service will be available during open hours. Residents can ask reference questions, get information about their library account and speak to the Children's Desk, among other services.

Visit monroepubliclibrary.-org/chat to begin a conversation, or text a question to 608-571-1ASK. For more information about Library Chat, contact the Monroe Public Library at 608-328-7010.
