MONTICELLO - The Friends of the Monticello Public Library are sponsoring its annual silent auction beginning Monday, Oct. 17 at the library, 512 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello, with bidding ending at 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.
Money raised from the auction will go toward the cost of the materials for the shed built this summer by volunteers.
Baskets and other auction items will be on display at the library during business hours. The group will host an open house a the library Nov. 12.
