DARLINGTON - The burning ban for Lafayette County has been lifted as of Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Lafayette County's fire chiefs determined that the recent rains were sufficient to residents to resume burning outdoors.
The fire chiefs are requesting that residents needing to burn items should do so with caution as dryer than normal conditions still continue.
