Kids' clothing exchange planned

DARLINGTON - The Lafayette County Home and Community Education (HCE) will sponsor a children's clothing exchange from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 25 at the American Legion Hall, 1400 Keep St.

All clothing collected through the county will be at this location. There is no charge for the clothing.

Clothes can be dropped off at the following locations between 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23: Community Building, 41 E. Milwaukee St., Argyle; public library, 408 Mason St., Blanchardville; American Legion Hall, 1400 Keep St., Darlington; and the senior apartments, 101 W. Grove St., South Wayne.

Children's clothing should be clean and in good condition and can range from newborn sizes to teen sizes.

No adult clothing is needed for the event.
