JUDA - At the board meeting Feb. 14, the Juda School Board:
Accepted the resignation of Dylan Cleveland as boys baseball coach.
Heard from students Emily Makos, Nikki Becker and Trent Davis in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters/Mentoring Program in the school. There are currently 30 students who serve as mentors for other students in the school.
Heard from board members who attended the Wisconsin Association of School Boards convention in January. They spoke about the various workshops they attended and the vendors they spoke with.
Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Larson updated the board on various events taking place in the school. The board was updated on the spring testing schedule, and Mrs. Larson updated the board on grants she is working on. Mrs. Davis informed the board that the search for the new band director will begin soon.
Learned the Recreation District is sponsoring a trip to a Milwaukee Brewers game in April. More information is available from the school.
Mrs. Davis updated the board on referendum items. There is currently $202,417 in undesignated funds.
