JUDA - Green County Sheriff's deputies continue to search for a missing Juda man who has not been seen since last week.

Steven R. Swart, 54, was last seen Feb. 5 or Feb. 6, Green County Sheriff Randy Roderick said today.

Deputies responded to a missing person complaint Monday at Swart's residence at N1649 County K and found his vehicle in the garage and no one at the residence. Deputies talked to family members, neighbors and friends and discovered that no one had been in contact with Swart since last week.

Roderick said it was unusual, because Swart normally leaves in his vehicle and has contact with other people. He has missed appointments.

Deputies searched the area around Swart's home Tuesday. Later in the day neighbors and friends of Swart joined the search, as well as the Juda and Monroe fire departments.

The search was expanded to a half-mile radius of his home, but Swart was not found.

Swart is 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and wears glasses.

Anyone with information about Swart can contact the Green County Sheriff's Department at 328-9400.
