MONROE - The Green County Job Fair is set for 3:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Blackhawk Technical College-Monroe Campus, 210 4th Ave. The event will open for military veterans at 3 p.m.
Representatives from throughout the region will be on hand to answer questions about their company, careers and open positions. Positions are both full- and part-time, represent virtually all industry sectors from manufacturing to retail, and require little to no specific skill as well as jobs requiring highly developed skills.
Employers are being added daily. Those already scheduled to attend the job fair include 160 Driving Academy, BrightStar, Colony Brands, Furst Staffing, Great Wolf Lodge, Hughes Resources, Integrated Development Services, InterCon Construction, iPacesetters, Jack Link's, Kelly Services, KleenMark Services, Kuhn North America, Lamers, Maxim Healthcare Services, Monroe Manor, QPS, RLC dba Taco Bell, Schneider, Sedona Staffing, Stoughton Trailers LLC, StraightForward, Tradesmen Internation-al, Walgreens-Monroe, West, Wisconsin Early Autism Project, Wisconsin Cheese Group and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Job seekers planning to attend the event should wear attire suitable for a job interview. Many employers will be accepting applications on-site and those who attend can bring copies of their resumes. Computers with Internet access will be available to complete online job applications, and trained job coaches will be available to help job seekers make the most of their experience.
