MONROE - Let's Get MOO-ving Green County Wellness Week is April 23-29.

Let's Get MOO-ving is a challenge sponsored by the Green County Healthy Community Coalition to encourage residents to incorporate physical activity in their daily routine and encourage healthier lifestyle habits. This challenge also helps build awareness of the recreational resources Green County has to offer.

"Moo-ving Monday: Walk, Talk and Fresh Air" will be held at noon today at Honey Creek Park.

Dr. Lara Salyer will lead "Walk with a Doc" at noon April 24 at Health Innate, 1005 16th Ave., on the west side of Square.

"Get your Spokes Moo-Vin': Bike the Trail" will meet at 5:15 p.m. April 25 at the Monroe United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St.

"Let's Get Moo-ving: Hit the Trail Thursday" will meet at 11:30 a.m. and at 5 p.m. April 26 at the Monroe United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St.

"Drug Take Back Thursday" will be a way to safely dispose of unused/outdated medications. Drugs may be dropped off from noon to 4 p.m. April 26 in the Shopko parking lot.

"Rise and Shine Yoga: Meditate, Stretch and Breathe" will meet at 6 a.m. April 27 in the Monroe Clinic's Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Center.
