IRS confirms Green County EMS as charitable group

MONROE - Green County EMS Inc. received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service confirming its status as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, effective as of April 25, 2013. This allows all donations to the GCEMS Capital Campaign for the construction of a new EMS Station in Monroe on and after that date to be fully tax deductible.

The Capital Campaign is close to reaching its $1.5 million goal. Over $1,444,000 in donations and pledges have been received to date.

Donations or pledges to the Green County EMS Capital Campaign may be sent to P.O. Box 28, Monroe, WI 53566. Persons with questions regarding the building plans or fundraising campaign may call the Campaign Office at 608-325-5396.
