MONROE - The Green County University of Wisconsin-Extension will offer an overview of what the Affordable Care Act means for both farm businesses and farm families from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 in multipurpose room number 3 at Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St.
The presentation is part of a statewide webinar coordinated by local UW-Extension staff that will be broadcast to 22 counties in Wisconsin.
The workshop will provide highlights of the act's requirements that are already in place and changes coming in 2014. It will also cover how to access the online marketplaces to shop for health insurance and provide resources to assist farm families and farm businesses in making decisions related to the Affordable Health Care Act.
To register for the free seminar, contact the Green County UW-Extension Office at 608-328-9440 by Sunday, Dec. 1.
