MONROE - At about 9 a.m. Thursday, the Green County Sheriff's Department was advised by the Roscoe (Ill.) Police Department that they had arrested Matthew D. Schupbach, 25, of Brodhead, on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for felony escape.

Schupbach was incarcerated in the Winnebago County Jail in Rockford, Ill., pending extradition to Wisconsin.

On July 16, 2009, Schupbach left the Green County Jail for a job search, and failed to return. Schupbach had been granted Huber privileges by the court during his incarceration at the jail.
