Hospice will offer program to cope with grief Saturday

MONROE - To help people learn skills to cope with grief during the holiday season, Monroe Clinic Hospice is offering a "Handling the Holidays" program from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the St. Camillus Center, 2101 6th St.

The program will help participants:

• Identify common holiday concerns.

• Explore depression as a part of grieving.

• Develop practical strategies to handle the holiday season.

• Discuss the role of spiritual comfort during the holidays.

• Create ways to remember loved ones.
