Home and business expo this weekend

MONROE - The Stateline Home and Business Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the SLICE Arena in Monroe.

More than 60 area businesses will be offering deals only available at the expo, new merchandise and the latest trends from home improvement to self-improvement.

The expo is free and open to the public.

This is an opportunity to learn about area businesses, shop for products, explore home improvement ideas and support local businesses.

There will be a number of informative consumer seminars brought to you by exhibitors. Featured seminars include:

Back by popular demand is a free, supervised child activity area complete with a bounce house and entertainment including "The Mystical Kid" magician. The Mystical Kid will have shows at 10 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday in the activity area. The child activity area will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Breakfast and lunch concessions are available from Avalanche Hockey.
