MONROE - Monroe residents have until Monday, Dec. 5 to enter Main Street Monroe's annual holiday lighting contest.
Categories are Children's Favorite Christmas; Business Store Fronts; Oh Holy Night; Lights, Lights and More Lights; Block Party; and Country Christmas.
Judging will be on Friday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 10. Entrants are asked to leave their lights on until 11 p.m.
Entries can be submitted at Monroe Floral or mailed to Monroe Floral, 1626 11th St., Monroe, WI 53566. They can also be e-mailed to mainstreetevent@yahoo.com
Category winners will be announced Sunday, Dec. 11. People's Choice voting begins Tuesday, Dec. 13, with awards announced Sunday, Dec. 18.
