Harvest Fest is Sunday

NEW GLARUS - New Glarus' Swiss Historical Village and Museum's annual Harvest Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Swiss Historical Village and Museum, 612 7th Ave., New Glarus. The traditional Old-World activities of beekeeping, cheesemaking, weaving, basket-making, quilting and soap-making will be on display. In addition, all 14 of the buildings that comprise the Swiss Historical Village will be open and guides will be available to share the history of New Glarus.

Reduced admission will be charged for Harvest Fest. Membership information for the New Glarus Historical Society also will be available.

Owned and operated by the non-profit New Glarus Historical Society, the Swiss Historical Village and Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week from May 1 through Oct. 15. Visit the website at www.swisshistoricalvillage.org.
