DARLINGTON - The Harlem Ambassadors basketball team will play a game in Darlington at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Darlington High School, 11838 Center Hill Road.

The Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines, all while delivering a positive message for kids.

"We invite as many kids as we can to come sit on the bench, have a front row seat during the show, and get involved in the show, and get involved in all the fun stuff we do," Coach Lade Majic said.

The Ambassadors work with local not-for-profit and service organizations, holding shows as community fundraising events. For the game in Darlington, the Ambassadors partnered with local businesses and organizations to help raise funds for the Darlington Chamber Main Street.

Ticket sales for the event will be on sale from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 at Piggly Wiggly Supermarket, 149 Wells St., Darlington, as well as on Friday, Aug. 24 at the Darlington High School football game. Tickets can also be reserved by contacting the Darlington Chamber Office at (608) 776-3067.
