TOWN OF YORK - The Green's Prairie Cemetery Association will host its annual Memorial Day Activity at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the cemetery or the Town of York Hall depending on the weather. Area authors Tom Mitchell of Monroe and Dave Green of New Glarus will address speak on the lives of some of the interred in this early secular pioneer cemetery. Mitchell will focus on a veteran of the War of 1812 and Green will speak about the migration of people to this area.
