On May 13:

● At 9:34 a.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of State Highway 69 and County Highway C, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a two-vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that an Implement of Husbandry was traveling northbound when it attempted to turn westbound onto County Highway C. At the same time a Semi traveling northbound on State Highway 69 attempted to pass and the vehicles collided. The Implement of Husbandry was operated by Daniel D. Roe, 60 of Monticello. Roe reported wearing his seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Semi was operated by Mykhailo Ganiuk, 35 of Hoffman Estates. Ganiuk reported no injuries, was wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were driven from the scene.

On May 16:

● At 7:04 a.m., Deputies responded to the N3400 block of Duncan Hill Rd., in the Town of Jordan, for a reported burglary.  The investigation resulted in Catherine Gallagher, 65, of West Allis, being placed under arrest for Burglary, Theft, Trespass to Land, and Obstruction.  Gallagher was later incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.  

On May 17:

● At 5:50 a.m., Deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle for speeding in the N4200 block of State Highway 69, in the Town of Monroe. The motorcycle then fled from deputies. Deputies pursued the motorcycle to the Village of Monticello before the pursuit was terminated by deputies. The motorcycle was later located following a crash in the 500 block of East Coates Avenue. The operator, Gregory J. Plehn, 22 of Monroe, was wearing protective equipment and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Plehn was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Investigation resulted in Plehn being arrested for Knowingly Flee an Officer and Possession of THC. Plehn was further cited for speeding, non-registration of auto, operating after revocation (due to OWI), and operating without insurance. Plehn was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.

● At 10:27 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating left of center in the W2600 block of State Highway 11, in the Town of Jefferson. Investigation resulted in the operator, Melissa D. Hardy, 51 of Brodhead, being arrested for Operating Under the Influence (1st). Hardy was further cited for Operating left of Center and Operating with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration. Hardy was later released to a responsible party pending court.

On May 19:

● At approximately 7:17 p.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS and Monroe Rural Fire responded to the N3200 block of Youth Cabin Rd, Town of Monroe, for a report of a single vehicle accident. Investigations determined Manuel E Guzman Robles, 20, of Monroe was northbound on Youth Cabin Rd when his vehicle exited the roadway and entered the ditch. Guzman Robles was transported by EMS for injuries sustained as a result of the crash. Guzman Robles’ vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Guzman Robles was cited for Operating While Under the Influence (1st offense) and Failure to Maintain Control. Guzman Robles was released to the care of the hospital.
