MONROE - Job seekers from throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois will have the opportunity to visit with local employers about jobs during the Green County Job Fair on Feb. 24 at Blackhawk Technical College-Monroe Campus, 210 4th Ave.
The event will be held from 9:30 to 10 a.m. for veterans only and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the general public.
The Green County Job Fair represents a collaboration between several organizations, including Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board, Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Green County Development Corporation, Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and Forward Service Corporation.
Businesses are encouraged to sign up soon as space is limited. Registrations will be taken on a first reserved, first served basis and the exhibitor fee will be $50 per participating business. Employer registration is available at www.swwdb.org/jobFairGreenEmployer.htm.
