Green County Historical Society: Unidentified team

Photo supplied by the Green County Historical Society
This photo, taken by Frautschy of Monticello, was recently found in a barn near Blanchardville and donated to the Green County Historical Society. The photo has no date or identification. If anyone recognizes anyone in the photo or knows anything about this team, please let Matt Figi know at 608-325-6503 or mfigi48@tds.net. The photo of the inside of a store that appeared in the July 8 edition of The Monroe Times came from the collection of the late Olga Voelkli. It was most likely taken inside the former Blumer Pharmacy, possibly at their opening in 1942. The interior wall looks like a theater wall, probably left from the Goetz Junior.
