This undated photograph from the collection of the Green County Historical Society shows a garbage truck belonging to the City of Monroe parked in front of Monroe High School at the corner of 16th Avenue and 13th Street. It is believed that the men in the photo might be city council members. GCHS is also looking for a clear photograph of someone in the Monroe area picking corn with a one or two row picker.
