Fairfield School students are shown after finishing their Christmas program at one of the many one-room schools that still existed in 1960. The teacher in each school spent many hours choosing poems and plays and helping the students practice for the one performance. Santa Claus would usually show up with a treat at the end of the program. The Green County Historical Society has many gift items available for a small price and that can be purchased online with a credit card or via the mail. Memberships range in price from $10 to $100.
