MONROE - Green County 4-H is starting a new fundraising program called Scrip. Scrip is gift certificates/cards from national and local retailers that can be used as a gift or to budget spending.

There are two different ways to participate in the Scrip program that benefits Green County 4-H:

1. A form is available from one of the local Green County 4-H club general leaders or at green.uwex.edu/4-h-youth-development/Scrip. The form needs to be filled out to be able to purchase Scrip cards from different national and local retailers. Forms are due by Monday, Oct. 28 to 4-H Clubs or the University of Wisconsin-Extension office. All order forms need to be turned in no later than Monday, Nov. 4. Checks can be made payable to the Green County 4-H Adult Leaders.

2. Green County 4-H will have Scrip Cards from Kwik Trip, Culver's, Walgreens, Pick 'n Save, Subway and Pizza Hut available for purchase at the Green County Extension office and at Green County 4-H events. Events include the 4-H Awards Program on Sunday, Nov. 3; the Green County Adult 4-H meeting on Monday, Nov. 4; the 4-H webinar/Club Charter meeting on Monday, Nov. 18; and the 4-H webinar meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Other dates will be announced as needed.
