MONROE - The Turner Hall of Monroe is again sponsoring a day bus trip to Germanfest in Milwaukee on Saturday, July 24.
Held on the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, the event features numerous stages of live ethnic music, food, exhibits and vendors, all related to Germany.
The bus will leave Turner Hall at 10 a.m. with stops to pick up riders in New Glarus and Madison if needed, and depart from the Germanfest grounds at 7 p.m. Tickets, which include round-trip bus fare and admission to Germanfest, are $40 for adults, $35 for seniors (60 and older) and $35 for students (18 and younger.)
Tickets are available only by mail, and checks, payable to Turner Hall, should be sent to "Germanfest Trip"; P.O. Box 762; Monroe, WI 53566. All requests for tickets must be received by Monday, July 12.
