MONROE - The Green County Humane Society will be hosting "Paws on Parade" on Sunday, Sept. 16, as part of the Swiss Colony Cheese Days Parade. Area dog-owners are invited to walk their leashed dog for the event.
Pet-owners can begin assembling at the GCHS table at 11:30 a.m. on the northside of the Green County Fairgrounds, 2600 10th St.
The "Paws on Parade" will be escorted by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
Those interested in walking their dog with GCHS during the parade can fill out a registration form available at www.greencountyhumanesociety.org.
